Believe it or not: this plant is called Ship's Screw - this is what I learned today 
Also some coral coloured wool was on my list It's very coooool today. Temps fall constantly and the air is cold and wet; that makes you shiver more then when it is really frosty...

The plant really looks a bit like a ships screw - sort of.
The yarn is lovely - but what is that beautiful thing at the bottom - a lamp perhaps?
