Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

Berlin ~ Dawn

Would you believe that these pix show one of the worlds metropol cities Berlin? Seen early Saturday morning, 27.9.08, from Alt-Pichelsdorf! Enchanting though not far from busy Heerstraße and Kaiserdamm.... ßßßßßßß
Beautiful dawn then, back in Hamburg weather is the real opposite now with heavy rain and storm today....

~ Sans Souci ~

The trip to Berlin and opening of the exhibition was a very last chance for my love, but I have to be honest to myself and resign - end of the trail for a great passion that lasted for 1 and a half decade....I even travelled with pain as my dentist had tortured me right before the trip! Yesterday the dog and I drove down to Potsdam in this beautiful weather, still warm and sunny. The entire city is full with history, so it was a nice relaxing stroll through the beautiful scenery.
Unfortunately my life is NOT Sans Souci these days, but I see ahead to a better future...
This is one of the many pretty busts in the park!
Here is the smaller princess castle right to the left of Sans Souci with the windmill in the background! Enjoy!!

* Berlin * Berlin *

Tomorrow we will head off to Berlin!!!! To hang a new exhibition there! I am very happy to go back there. It is definitely only about 360 km away from home, but still not a trip you do every day. Berlin is always worth a visit!!!
This is a huge oilpainting showing a part of the Norwegian coastline.
This is one of the recently sold watercolour drawings!
The artist K.H. Petersen at work! See also his page www.naurak3855.piczo.com! Welcome!!

~ Feed my Fish ~

Also in this blog I do have a pool with goldfish now! Aren't they cute? And you can feed them!
Just click into the water and food will appear. The fish will come immediately to take it; and you can repeat it as often as you please. But don't let my fish get too fat....

~ Gloomy Sunday ~

Y What ashame, but these are probably the very last strawberries of the season! Usually they make my dinner during summer...
...but summer is definitely gone. As you can see, had to wear the thick fleece sweater first day today. It is actually still quite mild, but the wind is chill, comes from the East, from Siberia. So guess you can imagine how it feels....have to get used to it now...
Here are some more pix of the place I live in...nice, isn't it?!!
We even have a Salmon Stair here, but I have never seen one single fish....
To all outthere: have a lovely Sunday!!!

~ Mystic Forest ~

One of my big interests is ancient history in the northern hemisphere! I always was aware that our local forests are special and mystic somehow. And I also knew that there are some tumuli around from about 1800 BC, but only recently a new sign was set up at the parking lot with legends to many more places then I knew. So the past weeks I wandered all possible passages and counted about 150 tumuli from that ancient time. Some are still in perfect condition, what is a big surprise as some of them are on moorish or sandy ground. Some are huge and some are very small but still visible; unbelieveable when you think that they are about 4000 years old and what they have been thru. Probably there are many more deeper in the woods...
have been to many similar places that are sometimes also public sites, but I have never seen so many in quite a small area. What a surprise ti live so very close to such an ancient area. These tumuli suvived so many years and some are about to vanish what is ashame - and I sometimes wonder who it was to built this and what was going on then; nobody knows definitely but at least we can get a little idea of what the people created such a long time ago...

Leif Gizmo of course enjoys it to stroll with me off the ways and into the forests; here we discovered several real enchanting though smaller tumuli...

* Calyx Mitts *

Y Thanx again to Birgit for providing me with such a pretty yarn! On the wrist they look like a calyx, that's why I called them like this. I added some pure Alpaca yarn in this beautiful, matching green, and ready they are! Am really happy with the result!

* Romantic Tour *

I am really happy that I can live in such a pretty little town with still many old beautiful buildings and be though very close a metropole city as Hamburg! This photo shows the main building of the watermill.
This oak is said to be 1000 years old! It is definitely huge and needs some support, but still well and alive...
The castle, what is actually more a mansion house. But it is nice and beautiful situated on an island in the lake! I just love to be here.... YYYY

♥♥Happy New Week♥♥

This is what I saw this morning when I stepped on my balcony. Short time later the thunderstorm was upon us - Happy New Week! But as I am known as a Bad-Weather-Girl I don't mind it. Storms and other uncomfortable weather situations are a challenge for me - and my camara.... Y
I hope you can enjoy these little precious outlooks to Fall - enjoy!!! Y
