I like this Fiat 500 Bambino best; such a tiny car and it looks like new. Very cosy with pretty seat covers and even a vase with fresh flowers in matching colours... Y When I accidently went into town this morning I came across this Oldtimer Ralley! What a sight! Normally cars are just something to bring you from A to B for me, but this unexpected sight dashed me right back into my childhood. When I was small we had two or three of this Ford cars. And I loved them. As a kid you find them real huge and in fact I used it more like a mobilhome. The backseat was mine while we travelled to Spain and Italy and I had lots of space; a great reliable car and we called them.....bath tub!

YYYYYToday I received an unexpected parcel. What a surprise: I got this beautiful yarn as a present and it really cheered me up in very dark days! Vielen, vielen Dank Birgit! Damit hast Du mir wirklich eine Riesenfreude gemacht!!!! Natürlich werden es Pulswärmer - so schön! Further I received another envelope with these tender garlands! As I don't like to crochet I bought them from a collegue on DaWanda. Aren't they cute? So accurate and neat! I am very happy to have them here, but without knowing yet where to apply them to. I will surely find something that could need a little decoration..... wishing you all outthere a wonderful weekend!!!!!

YSome time ago I produced quite an amount of these fairy scarfs, that's how I called them. I think I will do some more in the near future. Used with this one was an Online Trekking Yarn; perfect for this kind of work as the colours frequently change and give an enormous effect to the lady wearing it - preferable with black clothes, but all will go...! They are perfect Fall assessory as well, special, colourful, unique and still warm; about 140cm long you can wind it twice round your neck; large bright wooden beads give special effects at both ends....and they are fun to do! "A very special home protection here in town I don't want to miss to show to you - isn't it special!?? Mild, but gray and rainy weather here today - summer is expected back for the weekend though! Y
Recently I found these cute goldfish beads and the still waiting lightblue lambswool make a perfect match to be a pair of warm, very special mitts! Some shiny, tiny glassbeads and natural wooden beads give a decorative water and bubbles imagination inbetween the fish. I am very satisfied with the result; they look better then on the pix...
YAfter all this heavy rain that fell over 12 hours, the sun finally is out a bit today. Still it is a gloomy Sunday somehow. All the people we met were in bad moods, even though the woods were just wonderful after the awful weather; looks almost tropical, all fresh and green...we will have another walk still today, that's for sure.... YHexe is definitely a girl! She looooves to rest on this shrill pink blanket!!! Isn't she cute?
Two funny hats are done! I call them out-with-the-dog-walking-in-bad-weather-hat as they are very warm, stay in right position on head even in the harshest situations, keep your head warm and dry in badest weather and they still look neat and merry with the big wooden beads at each lappet. The wool used is also well chosen, one is out of Japanese NORO yarn in earthy tones and the other one is a normal mixed yarn, but has a beautiful raspberry colour. Raspberries are ripe and everywhere this year and on the fields not harvested yet cornflowers still bloom; so nice, they are one of my favourite flowers... YYYYY
Slightly, very slightly Fall is trackable! Y This is definetely my favourite season!!! I love the fresh air and the screeming crows in the early mornings, the mouldry smell in the woods....and the ladies are suddenly interested in wool again! Afternoons and evenings in front of the fire with something nice growing from the needles is just perfect. I started having out some new wool at DaWanda.com! It is fun to see thru all the offers there! You can shop till you drop.....
