~♥ Tiny Pipi Apron ♥~

Baby Lotta is 4 months old now and I made her first tiny Pipi Apron ~
will meet her Sunday and we will see if she fits in... ♥

IKEA Dress ☺

This is another baby dress! Love it.....
I used IKEA fabric which is just fantastic; very easy to sew
and the colours are just perfect. The fabric is quite sturdy, but
still right to give a good shape to this tiny dress.

~ Wordless Wednesday ~

≈ Rain and Carnations ≈

Usually May is the loveliest month here each year!
Not this year ≈  its only rain.... all the young animals
have not seen the sun yet!
Lovely panicles of the Lilacs are heavy of wetness
and just hang down... this is really a bit too much
water!
Actually I don't mind bad weather, but May is May...
Nevertheless, almost 3 weeks ago I bought a bunch of
Carnations. And they still look lovely, at least most of them.
I am impressed....will get some  more soon...

~ May Extreme ~

The past days have been incredibly cold and rainy, loads of rain....endless rain,
too much rain.....you can't see how much it is in this pic, but the dog and I came back
home completely soaked. At least we found some new patches with blueberries.
It definitely almost looks like a pic from Norway where you can find the woods covered 
with a carpet of blueberries; the entire country seems to be covered with a carpet of lovely blueberries. Despite the awful weather it was a good long walk.

Recently we got attacked by this snake during a walk in the forest.
It kept on attacking us. I don't know what kind it is; was about 1 meter long
an beautiful shimmering dark emerald green!

 

 Made another Pipi apron in a smaller size. You can see, I love toadstools...... 

Have a great weekend, even if the weather remains this awful. Can't remember a May
as bad as this one.....

Do you remember these Pansies? Posted them before, almost! As I just love these little sturdy and all weather and conditions 
withstanding flowers, I decided to make a cross stitch pattern of them! Just ask me if you would like it. It will come with colourline and all!
I enjoy them in the garden  every day.
I collect the seeds and think it is great to see what colour comes out next. They grow so fast and are very easy going, so I always have lots of them all summer long. And as they can survive a little frost, too, I plant them early and have them blooming still late in the year when winter is on the way again.

my first sight every morning when I wake up!

And I enjoy my wild Pansies along the driveway every day. They are so colourful and seem to like to grow here...

Thunderstorms are coming up! It was really cool the past days. Today very warm and muggy.
So no wonder we will get this.....just started to rain and it is stormy, too! 

My garden flowers and my snails (!) enjoy the warm and wet weather though.
All starts to grow and breed like mad now.......hope you like my Antique Pansies, too?!!

Rain on Mother's Day

So its Sunday again!
Unfortunately cool and rainy today, but I don't mind.
My new planted flowers will love it.
Suddenly all is fresh and green anyway, while just a
few days ago I still took pix of snowbanks near the house...
birds are eager with breeding and the air is filled with their
constant canto.
Yesterday I finished another Pipi apron.
Fabric was much better to work with as the one I made before.
So I am quite satisfied with the result...
