~ Better late then never ~

Beautiful Fair Isle part of a cardigan and to participate in Petunia's photoseries Mandagstema I would like to show off these dogs today; one is crocheted though. Todays issue is called Skyggen - Shadow. Well, this crocheted doggy is not really the shadow of the real one, but as I like this photo and honour this piece of art and the work that was done to create it, I just had to use it for this theme.

Faroer yarn, colour Marshland; my favourite right now......det er min favoritt farge av den nye i Färöiske garn. Svaert nydelig, ikke sant?

Usually I am not a fan of reds and blues, but this red is quite ok to me; it's warm and called Chilli.... röd er ikke min yndlingsfarve, normalervis. Men dette Chilli röd er bra......

Eumbuomm.....Blerse, Brippit, Castex, Armil, Tuall, Metieva, Inglot, Alizer and Wingi! What does this mean? Hva er dette?

Maybe some unusual exotic names?

Monday again....!

Petunia's Mondayword is HELP today! To me my knitting needles and other handicraft materials are a HELP to create lovely items!!! But my biggest HELP is my old car!!! Indeed, I feel helpless without it....right now it is very often decorated with beautiful iceflowers in the mornings....!

Petunia's Mandagstema i dag er HJELP! Jo faktisk alle mine strikkepinner og andre materialer for a lage nydelig og flott ting er en stor HJELP!!! Men den störste HJELP jeg har er mi gammel bil! Som er veldig ofta herlig dekorert med isblomster na....jeg föler meg hjelpelös uten bil.....

Vil ikke glemme a vise denne nydelige Färöergarnen i dag! Synd at du kan ikke föler det gjennom skjermen; bare herlig mykt er det: 12,5% pur Cashmere med rest av super fin micron lammeull! Har det ny pa liste min. Bare spörre meg hvis du vil höre mer av det!

I have some beautiful yarn new on my list now! It is the finest Faroer pure new wool with 12,5% pure Cashmere. Further lovely colours are available, just can't show them all here. Give me a mail if you want to learn more. A pity that you can't touch and feel it.....

° Monday's Theme °

Petunia's Mandagstema er Mönster, sa her er min ide; tenker strikkemönster er helt klassisk nar det gjelder a snakke av mönster - ikke sant!?

Just some fine wool....

I had some problems with my computer over the weekend and could not work properly. Now I am just cleaning up my old files and hope it will be back at work just as new after that. But it takes some time. So I will make this just a short post today - stay well!

~ Gray Sunday ~

It's time for a new post; I have been lazy and not really well the past days and all I can show are some pix of our dark November weather! Well, last Sunday we had a fantastic sunset, see above, but since that it is always gray and very stormy and rainy.

The forests are still glowing golden, but this will be done within the next days, too! Therefore the houses and shops slightly start up to get decorated christmassy; sure the most beautiful time of the year to me.....

This is what our weather is like right now....photo shows the usually busy port of Hamburg - one of the largest in the world. It looks somehow mystic in the fog...

I found these beautiful Tajarutits and the Toadstool cat toy in the web and loved it all, so I have to show it off to you, too. The red wristwarmer brings some colour into these gloomy days and the gray one is just like the fog - but still so pretty!

Still enjoy everything with Toadstools. In the woods they are fading now, but when you are creative you can have them all year round.... :))
