Himmelsk #73

 We were all born in the sign of

Cancer.

And we are a family hit with cancer!

It has just been Gubben's last

Chemo for a short while.

Hope he can be free of it for 2 or 3 months.

Right now he is feeling sick.

 But we also try to take up the joy in life;

even in the small things like

my beautiful blooming Amaryllis...

 And I am also experimenting with sewing

special gloves.

Still necessary to wear some!

Ice and snow are almost gone,

but it is still quite cold.

Spring is in the air though!

50 years ago my hometown

was hit by a severe storm

and flood!

About 350 people were killed!

As well as hundreds of animals.

I remember it, although I was

quite small.

My dad was a life guard with DLRG

and he was out in the most hit 

places for days.

He went away as a young man

and came home with a gray

shadow on his face...

When its done it can be a brooch

as well.

sewing machine - not completely done yet!

I honestly hope that those days are gone...

I am thru with winter.

Today the sun shines brightly

and I hope it remains like this.

But we have storm again!

Nasty icy winds are blowing! 

The snow is almost vanished though...

I want to see Green again!!!

It's my fave colour anyway!

but I was thinking about showing off these

although I am by now fed up with the cold and snow.

It snowed all day and I showelled snow all day.

My bathroom was out of order this morning as all

the pipes seemed to be frozen 

and they still are...

further the SUV refused to work.

A Diesel.

It just stopped while driving.

Probably the Diesel is too ductile in this cold?

I did play a bit though with my camera.

Himmelsk again

and almost weekend again!

And it has been Chemo day for Gubben...

Just picked him up from hospital.

It's all too bad; I feel so sorry

for him. He is very brave!

He feels so awful.

The weekend will be hard, but next week

it will slowly get better again...
