Just a little cat! Thank you for the Love you gave in almost 20 years that we could spend together.
It is now almost 3 years ago that I helped her to cross the Rainbow Bridge when her little body was torn and weak, but after a happy long lifetime. It took her only about a minute to cross and it was a relief for her.
After being an indoor cat, she started travelling in the high age of 16. Travelling on and off the long way to Norway. She made small tours around the house, enjoyed napping in front of the fireplace and enjoyed life in general... RIP

The Rose Hip Hat is ready - but I wonder if I should sew a rose trim on the edge or not? It is nice and warm; the pink parts and the green edge are of 100% Alpaca. Everybody visiting: have a lovely weekend!

Torn...!

Oooh well, this has been quite some time since my last post....but I m feeling torn, wasn't really in the mood for being too creative! Hubby KH is having a bad day today; he feels like being eaten up by the monster inside of him. Tomorrow there will be a discussion in hospital about the very status quo of his illness...the entire situation is frustrating, but we carry on.....I have not done too much in regard of needleworks; just one easy hat and a halfdone in rosehip colours, which I love for accessories. Besides I watch the Iditarod in Alaska by webcam and online in general. Since 30 years I wish to go there to see it live, but after many visits to Canada and the US I still havn't made it upthere. Not all is good and beautiful there! See my last picture in this post! It is new and I found it in one of the Alaskan blogs I read constantly. This is hard to cope with and I wrote this small comment: If you want a kitty why don't you just shoot one? Iron trapping is history and not necessary nowadays; it is pure torture to a mammal. A beautiful animal suffers for trivial items to be made out of its fur...!
Always loved your blog and read it, but this is sort of heartbreaking!
