Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

Maine's Coast Lobster Hat and getting ready...

Here's a pic when days were lovely, bright and easy: hubby and I in Berlin in front of Wrapped Reichstag, July 1995. We had just become a couple about a quarter of a year before! We even were so fortunate and met accidently Christo and Jeanne-Claude later that day... now I am getting ready to pack my things for Berlin again; only with complete different suppositions...

My newest hat out of the Faroer yarn is done. I used the colour Fauna and washed it in hot water. It is ever so lovely and soft now! Put a little lobster on one side - and found some more lovely lobster samples to show off... Enjoy!

...see you next week!

Travelling....

This pic I borrowed and it shows the mighty clouds forming a tornado that caused a lot of damadge and injuries on the North Sea Islands belonging to our district. Think it is really impressing! Last night we had another warning out, but problems occured only elsewhere, but not here. It is cooler though today, what is nice and there is still a good breeze going....

Will be on my way to Berlin for a few days soon. This time the pets have to be in a hotel; the first time away from me....wonder how they will like it....?!!!

I like Berlin! And I am looking forward to a few off days. I would have liked to take the dog again as it seems he loved to be in Berlin, too. Normally he is more a country dog, but he liked all the new smells and adventures in such a big city...

...I am invited to see Blue Man Group.....

☀ Molesting Heat ☀

This is great! I very much welcome my new followers, who also sent such friendly and sweet mails to me - I hope you will follow for a very long time and will always enjoy yourselves here...

Many years ago, when I was still a teenager such a waterhose came towards me while sailing on the Baltic Sea. Short time later I saw another very small tornado on land, but never again in all those years. Only quite, just about 4 or 5 years ago while walking the dog. There was a tornado raging over the harbour, in great distance to where I was, and killed two men. I just saw the heavy clouds. Actually they were really rare, but since a few years we do have them more often. It was dramatic the day before yesterday! We had a storm raging just upon us! We were warned though.
No wonder in this heat we have....things like this occur.....I find summer quite molesting by now and for me it could turn right into Fall now....

When I saw such a waterhose I was not able to take photos; just had other things to do then, but it looked just like those on the pix shown here! Enjoy!

Cancer - go home.....!

Circle of Life continues - even in these many thousands of polliwogs!
Cancer in my ex came to a halt; it will never completely disappear or even be deleted, but it is under control. CT turned out super!!!!

Almost 100°F is much too much for me - I am suffering! The pets are suffering! Who enjoys this? We tried to be at the beach, but it was even too hot there. See the nice beach at River Elbe with the island Hanskalbsand in the background.

60! Finally....

Two days ago it was finally my (ex) hubby's birthday - 60 he turned! A day we still some weeks ago thought he would never see.....these days he is feeling quite fine, hair is growing again and he is still busy with the arts! See above one of his paintings.....from his many kids he got a bass guitar for his birthday; when he was a young man he played one in a band....he was very touched!
Tomorrow he has to be back in hospital to get report from last CT; wish him luck that the cancer did not spread again and that he can stay without any further chemo!
It has been really quiet inhere recently! I am really sorry for that, but have been too busy. I only kept on with my other blog www.northatlantic-wool.blogspot.com! You are welcome to have a look inthere as well......
It is so muggy today; temps again up to almost 100°F - gets on my nervs; summer is defintely not my time of the year....we had a hard winter, now a hard summer!
